Introducing our WebCentre
If you’ve been with us for a long time, you may recall our original control panel called ‘WebCentre’. This was retired back in 2013 and you can still see the blog post here. 10 years later, I’m rather chuffed to say that the WebCentre is back.
Don’t worry, we haven’t dug out the old code – this is all new. We decided to bring back the old name, as it was always a good one and due to the way we speak, makes more sense. Picture the scene…..
New customer: Hi there, I’d like to log in to my account, can you help?
Jake: Sure (he’s not actually American), you need to go to my netweaver.
New customer: Your netweaver?
Jake: No, my netweaver. my dot netweaver dot uk.
New customer: How confusing.
But now, this kind of comical misunderstanding is a thing of the past.
WebCentre is replacing My NetWeaver with immediate effect. It can do all the same things but it’s more secure, allows for more billing and payment options, has scope for new features and we believe it’s more intuitive. You’ll receive an email from us when your new WebCentre account is ready – you’ll need to do a password reset to login the first time and we advise adding 2 factor authentication at the same time.
You can access the WebCentre by the ‘Login’ link at the top of every page, or by clicking here. It may take us a few days to make sure all the help documentation is updated, so if you need any direction in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
